^Lot 466 Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistol

Colt Model 1908 Pocket Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistol, #66290, .380 ACP cal., 3.75" barrel, small half-round front and "U"-notched fixed rear sights, blue finish, smooth composite two-piece grips, and one Colt 7-rd. magazine marked "COLT/.380 AUTO." with an "M" proof and Rampant Colt symbol. Mfg'd 1923. Pistol is in very good overall condition retaining approx. 75%-80% thinning factory finish, with even holster wear at the muzzle, along the slide and frame. There is flaking of finish on top and right side of the slide, and intermittently on the frame. Front and rear grip straps have drifted to gray patina. Composite grips are in good condition with small mars and scratches, appearing to have been on the pistol for a considerable amount of time. Action works well and locks up tight; bore is fair, showing heavy use with some roughness noted. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R/PPT)
