Stevens Favorite No. 17 Single Shot Falling Block Rifle, #M86, .25 RF cal., 22" octagon-to-round barrel, factory dovetailed Rocky Mountain front and standard elevator rear sights, blue finish, two-piece smooth wood straight grip stock with a checkered hard rubber Stevens marked buttplate, muted case colors on the breechblock and lever assembly, takedown. Rifle is in fine overall condition retaining a significant amount of toning original finish with the remainder going to gray patina, showing light scratches and sharp edges. Stock is good with light mars and a replacement screw in the buttplate. Action locks up tightly; bore is fair with light roughness and may well clean to good. Est.: $200-$300. (C&R)
