J. Stevens Crack Shot-26 Single Shot Falling Block Takedown Rifle, NSNV, .32 Long RF cal., 18" round barrel, German silver knife blade front and "V"-notched fixed rear sights, blue finish, thumb-screw takedown, smooth wood two-piece straight grip stock. Mfg'd from 1913-1939. Rifle is in good overall condition with the metal surfaces having gone to a dark brown patina, showing roughness at the muzzle and areas of light surface erosion evident along the barrel. Stock is in good condition with dents and mars consistent with field use. There is a small chip at the left rear of the hand guard, and there is a crude repair on the right side of the buttstock. Action locks up tight, bore is fair with some roughness and light pitting. Est.: $200-$400. (C&R)
