Reproduction Remington Model 1861 Army "Buntline" Percussion Revolver, by Pietta, with Color Pictorial Carton, #R296245, .44 cal., 12" octagonal barrel has maker's name, address, and proofs at right, "Black Powder Only 44 Cal." at left, tall front sight, hinged lever below; plain round 6-shot cylinder; brass solid frame has adjustable rear sight, proofs at right, matching trigger guard, integral straps with 2-pc. oil-finished walnut grips. Condition is new and unfired retaining all its deep black-blue to barrel, lever, and cylinder lightly-toned bright brass. Stocks show light handling, finish loss at backstrap.
