French Model 1907-15 Berthier Bolt Action Rifle, #59035, 8x50Rmm, 31.6" barrel, blued finish, hard wood stock set, blade front sight and adjustable folding leaf rear sight. Marked on left-side receiver "Chatellerault MLE 1907-15". Right-side barrel marked "MA C 1916". There is a faint roundel stamped into the right-side buttstock. Matching numbers. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining approx. 70% finish, showing a spliced repair to the left-side forend. Wood has dark chemical type stains on both sides of the buttstock, otherwise the wood is good with cuts, scratches, and handling marks to the finish. Action operates smoothly, bright bore is excellent with well-defined rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $600-$800. (C&R)
