^Lot 653 WWII German M34 Late Style Police Helmet

WWII German M34 Late Style Police Helmet, with possibly spurious SA emblem and SA eagle decals added. Multi-hole stamped vents on both sides, black painted finish, late-war ersatz cloth liner and head pad with cork side pads, and no chinstrap present. Condition is fair, the outer surface showing a light rust patina showing through the paint, scratches and scuffs. Decals have some chips and minor losses. The inside shows the same rust patina showing through the paint with heavier rust in the top. Liner shows heavy age, soiling, some tears, and is missing the drawstring. One of the leather tabs for attaching a neck guard is broken. Head pad shows heavy soiling and age. No chinstrap is present. Est.: $100-$150.
