Italian Model 1891 Carcano Bolt Action Musketoon, #BD3541, 17.7" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set, inverted "V" front sight and adjustable leaf rear sight with "V" notch. Cleaning rod mounted under barrel. Top of receiver ring marked "RI". Top of barrel shank marked with faint "BRECIA". Right side marked "1918". Matching serial number on left-side buttstock behind faint cartouche stamp; right-side buttstock stamped "PM" in circle. Condition overall is good with the metal retaining approx. 50% finish, which shows scratches and surface frosting. Stock has several putty and varnish repairs done by a previous owner and there are cracks to the hand guard, otherwise the wood is good, showing impressions and handling marks to the dark finish. Action operates smoothly, dark bore is poor but has visible rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)
