Egyptian FN-49 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #19649, 8x57mm, 23.2" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set, blade front sight with protectors and adjustable leaf rear sight with aperture. Steel replacement marking disc is mounted to right-side buttstock, and a good condition green nylon sling is attached to the underside. Marked on top of receiver ring with Royal Egyptian crown, and on the left-side receiver rail "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE_HERSTAL BELGIQUE". Matching Arabic numbers on receiver cover. Condition overall is good with the metal retaining approx. 40% finish, now showing darkening with areas of old patina. Wood is good with overall dents, scratches, and handling marks to the finish. Action operates smoothly; bore has slight darkening in the grooves, otherwise very good with very good rifling. Import stamped on underside of barrel. Est.: $700-$900. (C&R/PPT)
