J.C. Higgins Model 103.16 Bolt Action Rifle, NSNV, .22 S/L/LR cal., 24" barrel, dovetailed brass bead blade front and standard rear sights, chrome bolt, blue finish, smooth wood one-piece pistol grip stock with sling swivels, padded nylon rifle sling, ribbed plastic buttplate, and one 7-rd. detachable box magazine. Rifle is in good overall condition retaining a considerable amount of toning blue finish drifting to plum patina, scattered light surface rust and erosion, and a plastic trigger guard. There are four holes on the left side of the action for a side mount; all are filled with tap screws. Smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars, dents and wear. There is a vacant 1.5" rectangle on the left side of the buttstock where an inlay has been removed. Action functions well, bore is good. Est.: $100-$200. (C&R)
