^Lot 161 U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle

U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1903 Bolt Action Rifle, #1464224, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel dated SA 5-32. Rifle was arsenal refinished and the receiver is dull with a purplish tone. Rear sight and upper band are Remington Arms and the band has light pitting. The overall military finish is good with wear. The finger grooved stock is good, has been sanded, and a "(circle)P" proof is visible behind the trigger guard but no visible cartouche. Bore with good rifling but light erosion. There is an "L 7" and a symbol stamped in front of the magazine. Included are an OD WWII M1 sling and a plastic oiler stored in the buttstock. Est.: $800-$1,200. (C&R)
