Collector's Grade First Edition Colt Delta Elite Semi-Automatic Pistol, with German Proof Marks, #DE00454, 10mm, 5" barrel, blue finish, smooth wood grips with gold Colt medallions, white 3-dot sight configuration, with one correct Colt magazine. Shows commercial German proof marks on the right side of the barrel, frame, and slide. Only 500 First Edition pistols were produced, having standard Colt markings that are now done in gold lettering; additionally, the right side of the slide is marked "First Edition". Mfg'd 1991. Includes the original box with matching numbered end label, two-piece Styrofoam insert, instruction manual, and misc. factory paperwork. Also included is the original glass-topped wood display case with fitted interior, First Edition Delta Elite plaque, and key. Pistol is in excellent overall condition, appearing unfired, retaining approx. 99%+ factory blue. There are a few normal rub marks to the exposed portion of the barrel from manually cycling the slide. Factory lettering is crisp. Grips have only a few very minor handling marks, medallions are bright. Like new action and bright bore. Box shows typical storage type wear, end label is clear. Wood display case is excellent. There are three fingernail type impressions to one of the short edges, glass is not scratched, interior is like new. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (Modern/PPT)
