Quality Reproduction of a Model 1857 "Wurttembergischen" 3-Band Percussion Rifle, by Davide Pedersoli, #18570628, .54 cal., 39.5" round barrel has bayonet lug under muzzle, large elevation-adjustable rear sight marked "Mauser", marked "Koniglich Wurttembergische/Gewehrfabrik 1857" ahead of sight, "Mauser-Werke/Oberndorf 1998" behind, and assorted maker's marks at left semi-octagonal breech; flat lockplate marked "Kunigl. Wurt. Fabrik" under military hammer; steel fittings are trigger guard with front sling swivel and rear grip, knurled trigger, curved buttplate, 3 spring-retained bands (middle with swivel, front of the double-strap type with integral tall blade sight), ramrod with brass barrel-tip. Fullstock of satin-finish walnut. Mfg'd 1998. Condition is near excellent retaining all original finishes with sharp edges and markings, light scuffs at muzzle from bayonet attachment, sound and smooth stock with a few light marks (esp. left side).
