^Lot 279 Scarce French Manurhin Model MR73 Double Action Revolver

Scarce French Manurhin Model MR73 Double Action Revolver, #B1273, .357 Mag. cal., 3" barrel, high-polish blue finish, straw-colored hammer and trigger, two-piece checkered walnut grips with gold "MR" medallions, ramped blade front sight and standard square-notched rear sight. Right side of the grip frame, under the grip is marked "St. Etienne". Right side of frame is marked "Made in France". In an original two-piece unnumbered green Manurhin box with Styrofoam insert, cleaning accessories, and French instruction manual. Revolver is in fine overall condition retaining approx. 96% blue and approx. 80% straw colors. Barrel and cylinder have toned to plum color. Finish on the sideplate was applied over mild pinprick blemishes, otherwise metal has light scratches and handling marks. Grips appear near new with sharp checkering. Action cycles smoothly and locks up securely. Cylinder with a moderate index line. Excellent bore is bright with well-defined rifling. Box shows age and wear with some tape repairs and split corners.
