^Lot 301 U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle

U.S. Springfield Armory M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, #1907980, .30-06 cal., and 24" barrel dated S-A-4-51. Rifle was originally mfg'd in 1943 and went through a post-war rebuild. Barrel is in new condition with original finish. Component parts of the rifle were arsenal refinished and are in very good condition. Replacement birch stock set is good overall, marked with a "(boxed)P" behind the trigger guard. Trigger housing, hammer and op-rod are marked "SA".  Stock shows dents and spots of minor staining from military use. Bore is excellent. Included are a Korean War period M1 sling, plastic oiler, and cleaning rods.  Also includes misc. paperwork, invoice from DCM and Data Sheet.  Est.: $1,200-$1,600. (C&R/PPT)
