^Lot 328 U.S. Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle

U.S. Harrington & Richardson M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, #4765273, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel dated HRA 5-54. All parts are correct for this date. Metal surfaces are very good. Trigger group, sights, operating rod, bolt and gas plug are all marked HRA. Receiver, barrel and trigger group have an original military finish showing use. Operating rod and bolt are a lighter color and may have been refinished. Stock group is good showing use, with scattered dents and scrapes. Stock has the small Defense Eagle cartouche and "(circle)P", proof which is correct for this rifle. Buttplate has a weak finish and some rust which may clean. Bore is very good.
