Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, #2729850, .30-06 cal., 24" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock set, National Match tunnel front sight with added aperture and National Match tunnel rear sight. A good condition brown leather aftermarket sling is attached to the swivels, and an M-10 cleaning rod, brush, combination tool, and plastic oiler are contained in the butt trap, all in good to very good condition. Rifle is marked "U.S.RIFLE CAL..30 M1 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY" on receiver tang. Right side barrel is marked "SA" and "1 53". Bolt is marked "IHC". The operating rod, trigger housing, and hammer are all marked "SA"; stock is unmarked. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining over 90% of its re-parkerized finish. Wood has been sanded and oiled to a flat matte color, now in excellent condition. Action operates smoothly; bore has slight darkening that may clean better, with very good rifling.
