^Lot 340 Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine, with Accessories

Winchester M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine, with Accessories, #7246878, .30 Carbine cal., 18" barrel, parkerized finish, walnut stock set, blade front sight and adjustable aperture on ramp rear sight. Reblued round bolt. The three (3) U.S.G.I. 15-rd. magazines are marked "R-O","BW", and "IW" on the rear spine. Two are in very good condition, one is in good condition showing scratches and patina. The two-cell magazine pouch is marked "J.S.&S.CO./1943 on the rear. There are a few rust spots under the flap and a small stain to the front, otherwise in excellent condition. The USGI oiler and green cotton sling are in excellent condition with the sling mfg'r marked "S.M. Co./1944". Carbine is partially marked on receiver ring "U.S.CARBINE CAL..30 M1". Receiver tang is marked "Winchester" and the barrel behind the front sight is stamped "W". There is a small "W" stamped in the left-side stock sling slot and a faint U.S. Ordnance Dept. "Crossed Cannons" cartouche stamped on the right side. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining approx. 85% re-parkerized finish, showing scratches and wear along the exposed barrel. Wood has been sanded and stained, now very good, showing a marred area on the left-side forend and other scattered light handling marks. Action operates smoothly, bright bore is very good with very good defined rifling. No visible import marks. Est.: $1,200-$1,500. (C&R)(Hi-cap mags not available to Calif. residents.)
