Remington Rolling-Block 2-Band Military Rifle, NVSN, 7mm CF cal., 30" round barrel with tall block-blade front and elaborate adjustable rear sight marked "(triangle)/PN", "Cal. 7mm" at breech; large No. 1 receiver has 3-line Remington markings at top tang. Oil-finished walnut stocks include top hand guard, 3/4-length forend with steel nosecap/bayonet lug retaining the slotted cleaning rod, sling swivel on top band, buttstock has straight buttplate, sling swivel at belly. Mfg'd post-1898. Condition is good showing lightly-oxidized gray gunmetal, silvered case colors to receiver, fine edges and markings. Stocks are sound and smooth showing light marks of age and military use. Action is crisp, bore shows moderate erosion, good rifling. Est.: $600-$900. (C&R)
