Early Ithaca Baker Model Hammer-Type Side-by-Side Shotgun, #3786. 10 ga. 32" solid rib Damascus barrels have 2-7/8" chambers and very little chokes. The boxlock action features a lockup via a single underlug and doll's head rib extension, two hammers and triggers, with a case-colored receiver. The splinter forend and pistol grip buttstock are nicely-figured walnut and feature an ebony forend tip, black grip cap, and Ithaca gun buttplate. Mfg'd approx. 1886. Condition is very good with approx. 75%-80% Damascus barrel pattern and receiver case hardening remaining. Wood is quite good with checkering still sharp. Action locks tight, locks function correctly, and bores are bright. Gun weighs approx. 11 lbs. Est.: $500-$600. (Antique)
