Remington Model 11-48 Field Grade Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #4008778. 28 ga. 25" plain barrel has a 2-3/4" chamber and is choked IC. The recoil-operated action is adopted from the original Browning patents. The finger-groove forend and pistol grip buttstock are straight-grained walnut and feature pressed checkering, with original Remington grip cap and buttplate. Mfg'd 1952. Condition is very good, with few marks to wood and little wear to actin, which snaps shut tight and functions correctly; bore is mirror bright. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
