^Lot 396 Czech VZ-24 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle

Czech VZ-24 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #45693, 8x57mm, 23.6" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set, inverted "V" front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. Missing cleaning rod. Marked on top of receiver ring "1937", and "CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA, A.S, BRNO" on left-side receiver rail. Matching number on bolt handle. "C45693" stamped on left-side buttstock. Condition overall is good with approx. 85% finish remaining on the metal, showing patina to the bands and buttplate. There is a crack to the top of the hand guard, and the left side of the wrist is marred where the side swivel was removed. Otherwise, the wood is good showing sanding and staining over old handling marks; firing pin is bent but appears functional. No visible import marks. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
