Hi-Standard Model C Semi-Automatic Pistol, #2497, .22 Short cal., 6.75" lightweight barrel, blade front and fixed rear sights, blue finish, checkered hard rubber two-piece grips, and one unmarked two-tone 10-rd. magazine. Left barrel lug is marked "MADE IN U.S.A./THE HIGH STANDARD MFG. CO./NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A./PATENTED". Mfg'd 1938.
