Montreal Police Marked Smith & Wesson Model 10-2 Double Action Revolver, #C558174, .38 Spec. cal., 4" pinned barrel, serrated blade front and fixed rear sights, four-screw frame, diamond checkered walnut two-piece S&W Magna medallion grips. Butt is marked "SPM" indicating it was formerly the property of the "Service de Police de Montreal". Mfg'd 1962. Revolver is in very good overall condition as refinished, retaining approx. 80%-85% of an old refinish, with holster wear at the muzzle, mars and scratches associated with carry and use, and an index line on the cylinder. Hammer and trigger show muted case colors, and the gun is import marked on the underside of the barrel. Grips are good showing moderate to heavy use with a good fit. Bright bore is good with defined rifling. Action is smooth and timing is good on this police-issued K-frame from Canada. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R/PPT)
