Colt Series 70 Lightweight Commander Semi-Automatic Pistol, #CLW024093, .45 ACP cal., 4-1/4" barrel, blue finish, black alloy frame, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, standard blade front and square-notched rear sights. Includes one blued steel Colt magazine. Mfg'd 1976. Condition is very good retaining approx. 88%-90% factory finishes. Metal shows general light edgewear and handling marks. Wear to the front and back strap accounts for much of the finish loss. Factory lettering is clear. Grips with a few flat spots to the checkering detail, which is otherwise crisp. Action operates smoothly. Bore is good, bright, rifling shows moderate wear but is still clearly defined. Est.: $900-$1,200. (Modern/PPT)
