Colt Detective Special 4th Issue Double Action Revolver, #AD0458, .38 Spec. cal., 2" barrel, blue finish, nicely figured replacement grips, made of smooth hardwood, with finger grooves and a gloss finish. Ramped blade front sight with added contrasting compound, with a standard notched rear sight. An early 4th issue revolver that was mfg'd in 1992. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98% factory blue, with very few intermittent slight handling marks. Cylinder shows mild plum colored toning and a light index line. Factory lettering is crisp. Grips appear near new with only a few insignificant handling marks. Action cycles smoothly and locks up well. Excellent bore, bright with well-defined rifling.
