Reproduction Brass Frame Percussion Sporting Rifle in the Allen & Thurber Style, #6351, .45 cal., heavy 32" octagonal barrel (measures 1" across flats) with blade front/notched rear sights, marked "45" and "Mowrey/Olney, Texas" at right breech; brass frame has integral nipple bolster with cleanout screw, heavy Swiss-style buttplate, 9" brass forend, 2 pipes retaining the brass-tipped hickory ramrod. Mfg'd ca. 1970s. Condition is near excellent retaining approx. 98% blue, showing light field use and smooth toned brass. Stock with 2" encircled 8-pointed star at left.
