^Lot 636 Yugoslavian M48 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle

Yugoslavian M48 Mauser Bolt Action Rifle, #K90988, 8x57mm, 23.25" barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock set, inverted "V" front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. Cleaning rod mounted under barrel. Marked on top of receiver ring with Yugoslavian crest over "M48". Left-side receiver rail marked with Cyrillic "NPEAY3EKE 44". Matching numbers. Condition overall is very good, the metal retaining over 90% finish, with some patina to the bright buttplate. There are several scratches to the right-side buttstock, otherwise the wood is very good, showing just a few other light handling marks to the even colored finish. Action operates smoothly, bright bore is very good with well-defined rifling. Import stamped on right side of barrel. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)
