^Lot 681 Russian M1895 Nagant Revolver

Russian M1895 Nagant Revolver, #37846, 7.62x38Rmm, 4.5" barrel, blued finish, four-piece checkered walnut grips, inverted "V" front sight and fixed "V"-notched rear sight. Marked in Cyrillic on left-side frame "HMNEPATOPCKIN/TYABCKIH/OPYKEHHBIH/3ABOAB/1900". Czarist proof mark on right-side frame. Matching numbers on frame and trigger guard. Condition overall is very good with the metal retaining over 90% of its Soviet Arsenal re-blued finish, which was applied over areas of old pitting. Grips are very good showing light flattening to the checkering and a few scattered handling marks. Action, loading gate, and extractor function smoothly; bore has frosting in the grooves with very good rifling. There are a few dark spots in the chambers, otherwise bright. No visible import marks.
