British Webley Mark III* Single Shot Flare Pistol, #76294, 1" bore cal., 5.6" barrel with bell, brass frame and barrel, smooth hardwood grips, no sights. Lanyard ring attached to bottom of grip. Marked on right-side frame with the Webley trademark "Winged Bullet/W&S" logo; left-side frame marked "WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD/LONDON & BIRMINGHAM" and "III*". Proof, inspection, and "?17" in-service marks stamped into left-side frame and barrel. Matching numbers on underside of barrel and extractor. Condition overall is very good, with the brass frame and barrel showing a few handling marks and a darkened patina. Steel hammer, trigger, and barrel stirrup have an overall patina. Grips have a few dark spots and show mostly light handling marks. Action operates smoothly; bore has some dark areas that may clean better, otherwise good. Est.: $250-$400. (Non-gun)
