Lot of Two (2) WWII Russian SpSh-44 Flare Pistols, NVSN, 26.5mm bores, 5.9" barrels, stamped steel and welded construction, bottom checkered lever release, stamped triggers, external hammers, wood grips, marked with Soviet star in a shield, faint factory stamped marking, lanyard loops at bottom of grips, blued finish. 1.) Smooth wood grips with remnants of varnished finish, tight hairlines around the grip screw, remnants of bluing only in a few protected areas of frame, mostly a mottled brown patina, with light pitting and evidence of cleaning. Bore is lightly pitted near front half, action is weak, hard to lock up, trigger will not stay cocked. 2.) Smooth wood grips with initials "L U" carved into left grip, some varnish remaining on left grip, remnants of bluing on frame and barrel in some protected areas. Mostly mottled brown patina with scattered freckling, bore has light pitting overall, action works well, hammer and trigger function well. Est.: $200-$400/Lot. (Non-gun)
