^Lot 797 Remington Model 521-T Junior Special Bolt Action Rifle

Remington Model 521-T Junior Special Bolt Action Rifle, NSNV, .22 S/L/LR cal., 25" round barrel, Redfield globe style front sight and no accommodation for a rear sight, Lyman aperture sight at the rear of the receiver, blue finish, smooth wood one-piece target stock with an accessory rail and sling swivels, and 6-rd. detachable Remington marked magazine. Mfg'd 1948. Rifle is in near fine overall condition retaining approx. 90%-92% toning blue finish, with light scratches and some discoloration at the front ring. There is scattered fine surface rust on the magazine well and trigger guard. Rear of the bolt, bolt handle and trigger show muted case colors. Smooth wood target stock is in good condition with a couple of 1.25" lateral cracks and a crude repair at the front of the forend. Buttstock ends with a black spacer and a replacement White Line solid rubber recoil pad providing a 12.25" LOP. Action works well, bore is bright with crisp rifling. Est.:  $300-$400. (C&R)
