Lot 100 Semper & Krieghoff, Suhl, Three-Barrel Drilling
Semper & Krieghoff, Suhl, Three-Barrel Drilling, #13390. 16 ga. 25-3/4" (65.4cm) solid rib top barrels have 2-1/2" chambers and are choked approx. Mod./Mod. The lower barrel is rifled for an 8mm Mauser and has the same length. The lightly engraved scalloped boxlock action features lockup via double underlugs plus a Greener crossbolt on the rib extension, double triggers, manual safety, barrel selector, plain extractors, and cocking indicators. The rib has provisions for a four-claw scope mounting. The splinter forend and pistol grip cheekpiece buttstock are oil-finished walnut, with 26 LPI checkering, black plastic grip cap, and Pachmayr recoil pad. Stock dimensions are 15-3/8"x1-5/8"x2-3/4". Mfg'd probably in the 1930s. Condition is good to very good, showing much field use. The wood and metal are in good shape, except for several small wood cracks at the rear of the action. The rifle trigger actuator/sight lifter is inoperative, so rifle capability is currently not available. Otherwise, shotgun barrel locks tight and functions; bores are good. Est.: $1,200-$1,500. (C&R)
