Colt Series 70 Combat Commander Semi-Automatic Pistol, #70BS31299, .45 ACP cal., 4-1/4" barrel, blue finish, checkered walnut grips with gold Colt medallions, standard blade front and square-notched rear sights. Includes one blued steel Colt magazine. Mfg'd 1975. Condition is near excellent showing typical signs of light use, with intermittent slight scratches and small handling marks, retaining approx. 97% factory blue. There is a faint arched scratch to the left side of the frame, near the slide stop; light scuffs and handling marks to the front strap. Factory lettering is clear. Grips with a few small flat spots to the checkering, which is otherwise crisp, medallions are bright. Action operates smoothly. Bright and shiny bore has well-defined rifling. Est.: $1,200-$1,500.
