Remington XP-100 Bolt Action Benchrest Rifle, #A7501998, 6mm-222 Rem. Mag/6x47 cal., 22" heavy 1.260" dia. stainless barrel, blued action, blue fiberglass benchrest stock with Pachmayr "Competition" black rubber buttpad making the LOP 13.25". Topped with a Leupold 36x rifle scope. Rifle is in very good overall condition. Metal surfaces show minimal handling marks. Stock is solid with several areas where the paint has been chipped. There are 2 holes drilled thru the stock on either side of the bolt handle, possibly for securing action to stock. The high-gloss finished Leupold scope is in near excellent condition, with only minor handling and use marks; crosshair reticle is clear and includes a set of Michaels of Oregon QD scope covers and sun shade. Weight as described is approx. 12 lbs. and trigger pull is at approx. 1 oz. Bore is bright with excellent rifling. There are no caliber markings on the firearm -- a gunsmith chamber casting has provided the chambering detail. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (Modern)
