Remington Automaster Model 878 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #18051L. 12 ga. 28" plain barrel has a 2-3/4" chamber and is choked Mod. The gas-operated 878 action is similar to the more deluxe Model 58, and both were superseded by the Model 1100. The full forend and pistol grip buttstock are uncheckered Field Grade walnut, with Remington buttplate. Mfg'd approx. 1960. Condition is very good with some handling marks to wood and edgewear to receiver but little wear to action, which closes tight and functions correctly; bore is mirror bright. Est.: $250-$350. (C&R)
