COLOMBIA, Popayán, bust 8 reales, Ferdinand VII (bust of Charles IV), 1816 F, NGC VF 30, "top pop", ex-Lozano, ex-Becerra. Restrepo-120.10. Broad flan with very light blue toning over luster, technically higher grade but with die-buckle on reverse causing flatter central details, still among the best for this date (currently tied with four others for finest in NGC census) and a popular series as the only colonial bust 8 reales of Colombia. Pedigreed to the Becerra Collection (stated on label) and to the Lozano Collection.
