COLOMBIA, Bogotá, bust 1 real, Charles III, 1781 JJ, mintmark N•R, no • before JJ, rare, NGC VG details / holed, ex-Becerra. Restrepo-38.11a; KM-46.1; Cal-505. Non-toned and a bit crude, with weak bust and lightly laminating reverse, also with large but neat hole at top, a rare variety without dot between J's yet potentially a unique sub-variety (not mentioned in Restrepo) lacking the usual dot between the denomination and assayer. Pedigreed to the Becerra Collection (stated on label).
