COLOMBIA, Bogotá, ¼ real, 1797/6, NGC XF 45, finest and only example in NGC census, ex-Becerra, Restrepo Plate. Restrepo-75.2; KM-63; Cal-162. Bold full details and most of rims, attractively toned, with minimal wear but a few small marks and hardly any luster, the overdate probably at least scarce since we cannot find record of another being sold in recent years. Pedigreed to the Becerra Collection and Plate Coin on page 122 of Restrepo's 2012 book Coins of Colombia (both stated on label).
