COLOMBIA, Cartagena, copper ¼ real, Ferdinand VII, no date (ca. 1815), rosette at bottom on obverse, unique, ex-Gran Colombia Collection. Restrepo-102.1 var; Cal-unl; KM-C1 var. 0.30 gram. Dark and corroded surfaces, also a bit uneven in strike, but with clear lion on one side and NR-¼ on other side, the latter with rosette at bottom instead of top, first and only specimen known of this variety within a very rare type that Restrepo believed could have been struck at Santa Marta or Maracaibo instead of Cartagena (and KM says Santa Marta).
