COLOMBIA, Bogotá, gold 20 pesos, 1859, very rare, ex-JEAS. Restrepo-236.1; Sed-27; KM-130; Fr-87. 32.15 grams. Polished AU with lots of tiny marks, a classic key type struck in one year only, rated RRR in Sedwick, who also points out it is the first Colombian gold coin to have a smooth edge with the lettering DIOS LEI LIBERTAD. Pedigreed to the JEAS Collection.
