COSTA RICA, brass 10 céntimos, 1947, off-center and double-struck, NGC MS 65 / mint error. KM-188.3. An egregious error in which the coin was struck twice with half the design side-by-side with the other half in about 90-degree rotation, somewhat concave in favor of the reverse, which shows luster and complete lack of wear, the convex obverse with date presented boldly in the middle.
