GUATEMALA, Guatemala City, "moclón" 2 reales, crown countermark (1662) on the shield side of a Potosí, Bolivia, cob 2 reales, 1645 T, very rare, ex-Ponte. Perez Longo-Type B; Cal-838; KM-B1.4 (host: S-P30; KM-14a; Cal-unl [Type 239]). 6.95 grams. An exceptional example with 100% full countermark inside host's full shield with bold P-T to left, but best feature is the very full and bold date outside of cross, half of which is flat and scratched from the countermark on the other side, overall VF with nice toning in crevices and around details.
