PANAMA, Panama City, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer oX outside of tressure on reverse, mintmark AP to left of shield, very rare, NGC AU details / cleaned. S-AP1; KM-3.1; Cal-361. 6.66 grams. Broad flan with much legend aiding die-identification, allowing us to see the obverse matches Proctor 2R.4X while the reverse is slightly different (also missing in Plowman), hence a new discovery, also with bold full crown and shield and cross-lions-castles, the mintmark and assayer both a little weak and doubled but certain, slightly silvery but with toning in crevices.
