PERU, Arequipa, 4 reales, 1836 MV, ex-O'Brien. KM-151.2. 13.72 grams. AU with strong luster but weakly struck Liberty, also a couple minor rim-flaws, still in rare condition for this type, struck under the Peruvian Republic both before and after the 1838 South Peru type. Pedigreed to the John O'Brien Collection, with his tag.
