PERU, Pasco, 4 reales, 1844 M, mintmark PASCO, without fineness, full REPUBLICA, NGC VF 30, ex-O'Brien. KM-151.6. Scarce second type for this date with legend changed to full REPUBLICA without fineness, very weak centers but bold peripheral details with die-break at POR as usually seen for 1845, light rainbow toning, the flan extending past the outer border on almost half the obverse. Pedigreed to the John O'Brien Collection (stated on label), with his tag.
