PERU, Pasco, 4 reales, 1855 NS, mintmark PASCO, with REP• PERUANA, coin axis, extremely rare, ex-O'Brien. KM-151.7. 13.49 grams. Lightly toned Fine with weak centers, plugged hole at top of Liberty / over the date (with NGC tag that says "date mutilated"), which has to be 1855, extremely rare type with NS assayer, of which we know only one other example (impounded in a bank collection). Note KM calls this REPUB PERUANA in error. Pedigreed to the John O'Brien Collection, with his tag.
