PERU, Lima, ½ real, 1853/1 MB, NGC MS 62, finest and only example in NGC census, ex-Flatt, ex-O'Brien. KM-144.7. Good luster and very faint rainbow toning, the date side choice but the Liberty side slightly off-center, very scarce overdate (clear). Pedigreed to the H.P. Flatt Collection and to the John O'Brien Collection (both stated on label), with his tag.
