PERU, Lima, ¼ real, 1828/7, NGC MS 64, finest and only example in NGC census, ex-Flatt, ex-O'Brien. KM-unl (143.1 for type). Vividly rainbow toned over nice luster, choice strike, somewhat indistinct overdate (not listed in KM) but top grade for clean date too. Pedigreed to the H.P. Flatt Collection and to the John O'Brien Collection (both stated on label), with his tag.
