PERU, Lima, ¼ real, 1836/5, NGC MS 62, finest known in NGC census, ex-Flatt, ex-O'Brien. KM-143.1. Broad flan with nearly complete rims (albeit still slightly crude, as made), lightly rainbow toned over muted luster, very scarce overdate (not 100% certain). Pedigreed to the H.P. Flatt Collection and to the John O'Brien Collection (both stated on label), with his tag.
