PERU, Lima, ¼ real, 1846/26, NGC MS 64, finest and only example in NGC census, ex-O'Brien. KM-unl (143.1 for type). Very clear 4/2 overdate (missing in KM), that side about 5% to 10% off-center, other side a bit more centered, all with faint rainbow toning over muted luster. Pedigreed to the John O'Brien Collection (stated on label), with his tag.
